West Palm Beach, FL – Pedestrian Fatality on Okeechobee Blvd
West Palm Beach, FL (November 16, 2023) – Deputies from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a fatal accident responsible for the death of a pedestrian that happened on the afternoon of Friday, November 17th in West Palm Beach.
The crash took place at about 1:45 p.m. at the corner of Church Street and Okeechobee Boulevard near Plaza Beach Marketplace. According to deputies, the pedestrian was taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where they passed away from their injuries.
Officials closed down all westbound lanes of Okeechobee Boulevard in order to investigate the incident. No additional details regarding the cause of the accident have been made known.
