Injury Accidents in Florida
According to statistics, there are more than 400,000 reported car accidents in Florida every year. This number seems staggering, but it represents the risk to motorists who use our streets and highways each day. Last year, over 250,000 people suffered injuries in these reported accidents. Many accident victims sustained serious and even fatal injuries as a result of the crash. These incidents, unfortunately, take place multiple times per day. In many cases, those who are injured are hurt through no fault of their own. With most car accidents in our state, the actions of a negligent driver are to blame for the crash and the resulting injuries.
Following a Florida car accident, it is important to remember that you could have valuable legal rights. Under Florida law, a car accident victim may be entitled to recover compensation, including reimbursement for pain and suffering, lost wages, medical and prescription costs, and possibly more. An injured crash victim should never have to pay out of pocket for their injuries when the crash was not their fault. Finding an experienced car accident lawyer who will fight for the compensation that you deserve is an important step in making sure that your case is handled properly.
