Miami, FL - Woman Hospitalized After Apt Fire at 62nd & 12th Ct

Miami, FL (September 22, 2023) – A woman suffered severe burns in a Miami apartment fire and was rushed to the hospital on Friday, September 22.

EMTs transported the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. In the interim, firefighters with the Miami Fire Department tried to put out the fire at the apartment building, which is located on the corner of 62nd Street and 12th Court.

There were no further known casualties, though officers with the Miami Police Department and MFD are continuing a joint investigation at this time.
