Fort Lauderdale Car Accidents
Being involved in a car accident in Florida can be a negative and life-changing experience. In 2019, our state saw over 400,000 reported crashes on our roadways. These accidents led to more than 200,000 individuals suffering injuries as a result. Many of the injuries sustained were serious or severe in nature and required hospitalization, along with extensive medical treatment. An overwhelming majority of Florida car accidents are caused by the actions of negligent drivers, including those who drive recklessly and fail to comply with traffic laws. In these cases, innocent motorists are often the victims of the accident.
Under Florida law, you should be entitled to compensation if you were injured in a crash that was someone else’s fault. The other driver and their insurance company could end up owing you for your pain and suffering, lost wages and medical bills. The value of your case and the amount of compensation to which you are entitled can only be determined by a knowledgeable attorney with experience handling these types of cases.
