Broward County, FL – Four-Car Crash Takes Elderly Man’s Life on I-95 in Oakland Park
Broward County, FL (July 26) – A multi-vehicle accident on an interstate in Broward County took the life of a 75-year-old man on the morning of July 26. At approximately 6:15 a.m., police and paramedics in the area were alerted of the crash and responded to the scene.
Upon their arrival at the site of the wreck, located on Interstate 95 in Oakland Park, they found that four vehicles had been involved in a collision.
The accident occurred when a vehicle, driven by a 24-year-old Fort Lauderdale resident, was stopped on the highway. As two other vehicles approached the stopped vehicle, they slowed down. Another motorist approaching the vehicles switched into the same lane as the stopped vehicles and rear-ended one of the cars, causing a four-vehicle accident.
As a result of the collision, a 75-year-old man from Aventura, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name has not been released at this time.
No other information has been made public concerning the incident. Police in Broward continue to investigate.
