Fort Lauderdale, FL – Fatal Crash Reported on I-95 near SR 84
Fort Lauderdale, FL (July 25, 2021) – The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal car crash in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday morning. The crash took place on Interstate 95, near State Road 84.
Troopers received a dispatch call regarding the crash at 6:51 a.m. and responded to the scene at approximately 6:30 a.m. There are few details available surrounding the crash at this time. Police have said that at least one person was killed as a result of the crash. There is no information on the cause of the collision or the number of vehicles involved. All northbound lanes of traffic were blocked and motorists were diverted onto I-595 as police were at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately available.
