What if I am upside down on the loan for my car and I am involved in a car accident in Florida?

Transcript

If you’re involved in a Florida accident and your car is damaged and you’re upside down on the load, I hope that your car is not totaled. If it’s just damaged, it’ll be repaired and you’ll go on your way. If your car is totaled though, you’ll only receive the actual cash value. That money will usually go directly to whoever it is that you owe money to for your car and then you are responsible for the remaining money. Hopefully we can collect it from the driver that caused the accident.
