What evidence of injury is necessary to recover damages in a Florida auto accident case?

Transcript

When we talk about what evidence of injury is required, it’s difficult to really give a good answer, because under Florida law, we have to prove that you are permanently injured in the accident in order to recover money for pain and suffering, mental anguish, and the effects that the accidents had on your life. A doctor can come in, showing x-rays, or an MRI scan, or other types of testing, which is very, very beneficial, and sometimes there are no tests that prove your injury, and it’s basically the doctor testifying that, based on his opinion, he believes that you’ve suffered a permanent injury as a result of the accident.
