Injury Crashes in Florida
According to the most recent statistics, there are about 250,000 injuries reported as a result of car accidents in Florida each year. While pedestrians do not make up the majority of the injured victims, a pedestrian crash in Florida often results in serious and life-threatening complications. Pedestrians are extremely vulnerable to being seriously injured or killed when they are involved in a crash as they have no protection from the force and impact of a serious collision. Further, many pedestrian accidents take place at higher speeds and neither the pedestrian nor the driver have time to take evasive action prior to impact. The results of these crashes can be devastating.
