Plantation, FL – Fatal Accident on NW 3rd St near University Dr Takes 2 Lives
Plantation, FL (July 15, 2021) – A fatal vehicle collision occurred on a roadway in Plantation that took the life of a child and an adult man. The wreck was reported around 3:30 a.m.
According to officials, the accident occurred on Northwest 3rd Street near University Drive when a Mercedes-Benz sedan was involved in a collision. A man and a 3-year-old child were in the car at the time of the crash. Both lost their lives.
It was reported to police in Plantation that the driver of the Mercedes-Benz lost control and struck a tree. The car then burst into flames. Those involved have not been identified to the public.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision. Speed was believed to be a possible factor in the cause of the crash.
