Miramar, FL – One Dead, One Critically Hurt in Collision on University Dr

Miramar, FL (January 28, 2024) – One teenager is dead, and another is fighting for her life after a crash on University Drive in Miramar on Sunday night.

Miramar Police responded to reports of a wreck in the area of 3600 University Drive just before 8:00 p.m. Sunday. When officers arrived, they found that both were seriously hurt, and the teens were initially rushed to a local area hospital, where one of the victims was pronounced deceased. At this time, authorities have not released the identities of the teens and said they are still investigating the events leading up to the collision.
