Miami Lakes, FL – Fatal Crash Takes One Life on NW 37th Ave
Miami Lakes, FL (February 9, 2021) – A woman from Miami Lakes has died after her involvement in an accident that occurred in Miami Lakes on February 4. Sources state that the crash occurred on Northwest 37th Avenue in the late evening hours.
Preliminary reports indicate that the crash occurred between four vehicles. A 2019 Toyota broke down on the highway at approximately 12:00 p.m. The vehicle was pulled over to the side of the highway where two other vehicles also pulled over to render aid and wait for a tow truck.
The two other vehicles were identified as a Chevrolet Camaro driven by a 27-year-old man and a 2020 Nissan driven by an elderly woman. Shortly after the three cars were pulled over, a 2010 Ford F-150 Truck collided with the Nissan, creating a chain reaction crash.
The Nissan crashed into the Camaro which then hit the Toyota. The driver of the Nissan lost her life at the scene of the crash. The Ford’s driver was transported to a nearby hospital via ambulance for the treatment of injuries they sustained in the crash.
The collision is currently under investigation by local authorities at this time. No one involved has been identified to the public.
