Miami, FL (March 7, 2024) – Delray Beach police were investigating a deadly crash that happened just before midnight on Tuesday, per local authorities.

Witnesses say they saw a woman hit by a southbound Brightline train near an area intersection. EMTs responded shortly thereafter, though she was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. No further details have been reported, but officers with the Delray Beach Police Department are handling the ongoing inquiry into the accident.
