Miami, FL - Woman Dies After Charter Boat Fall at Miami River

Miami, FL (March 18, 2024) – On Sunday, a woman who was on a St. Patrick’s Day charter boat fell into the Miami River, and authorities confirmed her death on Monday.

At approximately 4:00 p.m., the Miami Police Marine Patrol was dispatched to the location in response to reports that a woman had fallen overboard near the Brickell Bridge. The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, was pulled from the water but did not survive. At this time, an investigation is being conducted by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
