Miami, FL (November 8, 2020) – Police in Miami responded to the scene of a pedestrian crash in the city early Sunday morning. The accident was first reported just before 4:00 a.m. at the intersection of SW 12th Avenue and SW 1st Street.

Officers and paramedics arrived around 4:05 a.m., approximately 15 minutes after first receiving a call regarding the crash. Authorities were able to confirm that one person was struck by a vehicle near the intersection. There is no word on the events leading up to the accident at this time. The injured pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. It is not clear whether the pedestrian was in a crosswalk when the crash took place.
