Miami, FL – House Fire w/Injuries Recorded on Belmont Dr

Miami, FL (February 1, 2024) – First responders confirmed that Miami-Dade firefighters extinguished a fire Wednesday morning in the attic of a home in Cutler Bay.

The fire was reported just after 3:00 a.m. at a home in the 19700 block of Belmont Drive. According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials, firefighters arrived at the scene to find the home fully engulfed in flames with heavy smoke emitting from it. The flames were extending to a nearby gazebo. Per officials, firefighters extinguished the flames while discovering that the fire had started in the home’s attic. EMTs also responded, though their findings are currently unknown.
