Lauderdale Lakes, FL – Woman Hit, Killed in Accident on SR 7

Lauderdale Lakes, FL (September 27, 2023) – On Wednesday morning, the Broward Sheriff’s Office reported that a pedestrian had been killed in a collision near Lauderdale Lakes.

According to a statement released by the Sheriff’s Office, at around 6:30 a.m., deputies from the BSO Lauderdale Lakes District responded to a complaint of a collision in the 3300 block of State Road 7. A woman was discovered there with “injuries consistent with a traffic crash.”

Per the statement, she was pronounced deceased by responding Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue personnel. The driver remained at the site of the accident.

The BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating, and no further details were provided in the meantime.
