Hillsboro Beach, FL – Three Bicyclists Injured in Saturday Crash on Hillsboro Mile
Hillsboro Beach, FL (June 5, 2021) – Three bicyclists were involved in a crash on Saturday morning in Hillsboro Beach. The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Hillsboro Mile.
According to the Hillsboro Beach Police and the Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue, the bicyclists were traveling northbound on Hillsboro Mile when they were all struck by a 2018 Honda CR-V. The bicyclists suffered serious injuries and were taken to Broward Health Medical Center as trauma alerts. There is no word on their conditions at this time. The driver of the Honda was not injured in the accident. No one involved in the crash has been identified. The roadway was partially closed while authorities investigated. Motorists were advised to find alternate routes of travel.
The crash remains under investigation and it is not clear if any charges are expected to be filed. There is no additional information available.
