Hialeah, FL – One Seriously Hurt in Tractor-Trailer Crash on Okeechobee Rd.
Hialeah, FL (November 14, 2020) – Police in Hialeah were called to the scene of a serious crash involving a tractor-trailer on Wednesday. The accident was first reported around 3:00 p.m. along Okeechobee Road near West Third Avenue.
The Hialeah Police and Fire Rescue were among the first responders that arrived at the scene. According to officials, a total of three vehicles were involved in the accident, including a tractor-trailer. One person lost their life as a result of the accident. A second victim was taken to a local hospital as a trauma alert and was listed in stable condition.
Paramedics transported one person as a trauma alert to a local hospital where they remain in stable condition. Two others victims were treated at the scene but there is no word on their conditions at this time. Police closed the roadway while they conducted an investigation into the crash but it was later reopened to traffic. There is no word at this time on the cause of the accident.
