Ft Lauderdale, FL – Three Killed, Three Hurt in Brightline Train Crash

Fort Lauderdale, FL (January 13, 2024) – Three people were killed in two separate accidents involving the Brightline train in the greater Fort Lauderdale area on Wednesday and again on Friday.

A man and a woman, both from Melbourne, were killed in the accident that happened on Friday. Another man was killed on Wednesday when a train struck his vehicle, and officers added that three other people in the car were hurt and hospitalized as a result of that crash. On Saturday, a National Transportation Safety Board crew was anticipated to remain at the site for the next few days and launch their investigation. No further details were provided in the interim.
