Ft Lauderdale, FL – Three Hurt in Lauderdale Manors Fire on 15th St

Fort Lauderdale, FL (February 25, 2024) – A firefighter sustained an injury on Saturday in the Lauderdale Manors neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale while responding to a home fire. The firefighter was assigned to the Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue crews that were dispatched to the scene of the blaze in the vicinity of 15th Street and Northwest 19th Avenue.

He was transported to Broward Health Medical Center by fire rescue personnel. The fire resulted in the displacement of two individuals from the residence, and they were assessed for injuries at the scene. The fire’s cause remains the subject of an investigation in the interim.
