Ft. Lauderdale, FL – Pedestrians Hospitalized in Crash in N Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale, FL (September 2, 2023) – On Thursday, authorities released further details in connection with an auto accident that took place earlier this week.

A 4-year-old child who was critically hurt in the incident has now been taken off life support, but his mother is still intubated at Broward Health Medical Center. The incident occurred in North Lauderdale on Monday morning when a driver hit the child and his mother.

A 20-year-old man was identified as the motorist who caused the accident in North Ft. Lauderdale and was subsequently charged with DWI.

The investigation remains ongoing.
