Ft Lauderdale, FL – Four Hurt in Boating Accident Near Middle River Dr

Fort Lauderdale, FL (March 3, 2024) – Four individuals, including two children, were rushed to the hospital Saturday night following a boating accident that occurred directly off the coast of Fort Lauderdale. Emergency crews responded to the scene, near Middle River Drive and Northeast Seventh Street; Fort Lauderdale Police and Fire Rescue also reported to the site.

Paramedics treated the victims immediately before transferring them to Broward Health Medical Center. One adult and two children sustained minor injuries, while the fourth victim, an adult, is in critical condition. Fort Lauderdale officers continue to investigate the incident in the interim.
