West Palm Beach, FL – Pedestrian Critically Hurt in Hit-and-Run on Palm Beach Lakes

West Palm Beach, FL (September 6, 2023) – A woman seriously wounded in a hit-and-run on Monday night in West Palm Beach is still in critical condition, authorities confirmed on Wednesday.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the car and its driver.

The victim was reportedly crossing the 1300 block of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard at the time of the incident, as stated in a police statement released on Monday night. A speeding westbound pickup hit the woman, authorities said, sending her flying roughly 150 feet down the road.

EMTs transferred the woman to St. Mary’s Hospital, where she remained in the trauma critical care unit on Wednesday morning. Witness statements allegedly point to a black late-model Nissan Titan Pro-4X truck as the suspect vehicle.

Investigator Dan Dillard requests that anybody who saw the collision or who sees a truck matching the witness description contact him immediately.
