West Palm Beach, FL - 63-Year-Old Woman Dies in Crash on Haverhill Rd.

West Palm Beach, FL (August 7, 2021) – A 63-year-old woman was killed in a car accident that took place on Thursday afternoon in West Palm Beach. The crash happened around 12:40 p.m. on Haverhill Road at the intersection with Summit Pines Boulevard.

Police say that a 2017 Hyundai Elantra was traveling southbound on Haverhill approaching the intersection with Summit Pines. At the same time, the driver of a 2003 Ford F250 swerved and collided with the passenger side of the Hyundai. Following impact, the Hyundai was forced into the northbound lanes of Haverhill where it collided head-on with a 2018 Chevy Trax.

The driver of the Trax, Ived Del Valle, of Greenacres, died at the crash scene. The occupants of the Ford were tall taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center with unspecified injuries. There is no word on whether anyone in the Hyundai was hurt.

The crash is still under investigation at this time and charges are pending. There is no further information available.
