West Broward, FL – Three Airlifted Following Alligator Alley Car Accident
West Broward, FL (December 12, 2020) – Police and rescue officials responded to the scene of a rollover crash in West Brevard on Thursday, December 10th. The crash took place in the Alligator Alley area, near Mile Marker 45 around 12:30 p.m.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle was traveling on Alligator Alley when the driver lost control, causing the car to veer off the roadway and flip several times before coming to rest. The driver and two other occupants of the vehicle were injured in the crash. All three victims were airlifted from the scene to a nearby hospital. There is no update on their conditions at this time.
The roadways remained closed in both directions for about an hour following the crash but later reopened for motorists. Drivers were advised to use caution and to find an alternate route of travel if possible.
