Wellington, FL – Jerome Goldman Killed in Crash on Greenview Shores Blvd.

Hialeah Gardens, FL - Three Killed, One Injured in Head-on Crash on NW 95th St

Wellington, FL (April 10, 2021) – A 77-year-old man was killed in a car accident that took place in Wellington on Thursday, April 8th. The crash took place around 10:00 a.m. on Greenview Shores Boulevard at the intersection with Chatsworth Village Drive.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was called to the accident scene just after the collision occurred. According to a report from deputies, a 17-year-old driving a Mercedes came to the intersection of Greenview Shores and Chatsworth Village. The 17-year-old entered the intersection while traveling at a high rate of speed. At the same time, 77-year-old Jerome Goldman, of Wellington, was making a left turn. The Mercedes collided with Goldman’s vehicle in the intersection.

Goldman died at the accident scene. The 17-year-old Mercedes driver was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries. There were no other vehicles involved and no additional injuries reported.

Police are still investigating and there is no word on any potential charges stemming from the accident. No further information is available at this time.
