Florida Car Accidents
Car accidents in Florida can result in life-altering consequences in a matter of seconds. These crashes take place very frequently on our state’s roadways as an accident is reported approximately once every 90 seconds. Due to the number of negligent drivers in Florida, it is common to see innocent crash victims injured on a daily basis. These victims will suffer injuries because another driver failed to comply with traffic laws and chose to drive in a careless and reckless manner. Unfortunately, more than 250,000 people were hurt last year due to Florida car accidents and this number is expected to rise in the coming years.
Although a car accident in the Sunshine State can cause serious stress for you and your family, it does not have to define your life forever. If you were the victim of a car accident, you could be entitled to valuable compensation for your injuries. Florida law provides victims the right to recover certain types of damages as a result of the accident. This includes payment for your pain and suffering, lost wages, medical bills, prescription expenses and more. Holding the other driver responsible is important when you need compensation to help you move forward.
