St. Lucie County, FL (February 12, 2021) – A multi-car accident occurred on an interstate in St. Lucie County in the early morning hours of February 12. Just before 6:00 a.m., at least three cars were involved in a collision on I-95. 

Sources indicate that the incident occurred on Interstate 95 just beyond Exit 118, Gatlin Boulevard/Traditional Parkway. One or more persons sustained injuries in the crash.

Emergency crews assisted injured victims at the site of the wreck. Persons who required extensive medical treatment were transported via ambulance to area hospitals in order to be treated for their injuries. 

All lanes of the interstate were blocked while responders were at the scene. Investigations into the circumstances of the collision will be carried out by local authorities.
