Pompano Beach, FL (October 6, 2023) – A Brightline train crash took place in Pompano Beach on Friday, October 6, and deputies with the Broward Sheriff’s Office were on the scene, investigating the incident where a person was struck.

The incident occurred at the intersection of East Copans Road and North Dixie Highway, and news footage showed the victim covered with a yellow tarp next to the train tracks.
