Plantation, FL – Two Hurt in Police Cruiser Crash on SR 84 Near Flamingo Rd

Plantation, FL (March 2, 2024) – A Plantation Police officer and a civilian were both hospitalized after a collision involving a police cruiser on Saturday afternoon.

Just before 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Florida Highway Patrol and Davie Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the accident scene near State Road 84 and Flamingo Road. The officer and another individual were transported to Broward Health Medical Center, according to officials. As of Saturday evening, no further information about their conditions nor the cause of the collision was released.
