Plantation, FL – Fatal Pedestrian Crash Takes One Life on State Rd 7
Plantation, FL (December 14, 2020) – Police in Broward County are searching for a driver who struck and killed a pedestrian on a roadway in Plantation in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 13. The reason for the collision remains unknown at this time.
According to a local news source, the crash happened on State 7 Road near Northwest 5 Street at approximately 2:30 a.m. for reasons under law enforcement investigation. A 36-year-old man was traveling by foot along State Road 7 when he was fatally struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene of the collision without stopping to render aid.
Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene of the collision. His identity has not been publicly released at this time as an investigation is still currently underway.
