Palm Beach, FL – Woman Killed, One Arrested in Hit-and-Run on Ocean Blvd
Palm Beach, FL (November 15, 2023) – A 73-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run incident, and investigators from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office have found an SUV that is thought to have been involved in the crash. About three-quarters of a mile north of the Ocean Avenue bridge, in the 3500 block of South Ocean Boulevard, just after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, the woman was killed when a northbound GMC Terrain hit her. After the accident, the car allegedly proceeded north and then fled the scene, according to investigators. The PBSO said Monday that it had found and seized the SUV, and the bureau has said that charges would be announced after an investigation has been completed.
Our deepest condolences are with the deceased woman’s family.
