Palm Beach Co, FL - Two Workers Hospitalized in Crane Collapse at Holey Land

Palm Beach County, FL (January 30, 2024) – Two workers were transported to the hospital in the West Palm Beach area following the collapse of a crane.

On Tuesday morning, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the Holey Land Wildlife Management Area, which is 15 miles west of U.S. Highway 27 along the Palm Beach County line. Per official statements, the bucket truck on which the two men were performing maintenance above high-tension power lines collapsed while they were working. They were airlifted to Broward Health North for treatment after suffering serious injuries. No additional injuries were documented, and an investigation into the incident remains active and ongoing.

Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their loved ones at this time.
