Palm Beach Co, FL – Three Hospitalized in Five-Car Collision on FL Trnpke
Palm Beach County, FL (December 24, 2023) – The Florida Turnpike was briefly closed in both directions on Saturday afternoon due to a crash involving five vehicles, which resulted in three victims being taken to the hospital, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Around 12:45 p.m., Rescue United was sent to the scene near northbound mile marker 104, between the Beeline Expressway and Okeechobee Boulevard. One person had to be extricated from their vehicle, and two more were seriously hurt in the wreck. All three people were hospitalized, but their current conditions are unknown.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol are continuing their investigation into the collision at this time.
