Miramar, FL – One Killed, Two Injured in I-15 Crash near Pomerado Road
Miramar, FL (April 20, 2021) – One person has lost their life and two others were injured Monday afternoon after their involvement in a serious crash on Interstate 15 in Miramar. According to reports, the crash happened shortly after 4:00 p.m.
A Jeep Wrangler left the freeway just south of Pomerado Road for reasons still being investigated and crashed into a tree. One of the passengers present in the vehicle at the time of the collision lost their life. They were pronounced deceased at the scene by medical professionals who responded to the report concerning the crash.
The driver and a second passenger were transported to an area hospital in order to be treated for injuries of undisclosed severity. Their names have not been publicly released at this time.
Two southbound lanes of the roadway were closed while responders worked to secure the scene. Police continue to investigate.
