Miami, FL – Woman Killed in Accident on I-95 Near Ives Dairy Rd

Miami, FL (March 10, 2024) – Due to a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred on Sunday around the Ives Dairy Road exit, all northbound lanes of Interstate 95 were closed for approximately four hours.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Ford Mustang and a Chevrolet SUV were involved in a crash in the area. One woman was rushed to Aventura Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later. It’s unclear how many other victims were hurt, though investigations into the incident were ongoing. From approximately 8:40 a.m. until approximately 12:40 p.m., northbound traffic was rerouted from I-95 for the on-scene inquiry.
