Miami, FL – Victims Hurt in Hibiscus Pt Condo Fire on 12th Ave

Miami, FL (November 7, 2023) – A fire began at an apartment complex in Northwest Miami-Dade on Monday morning, November 6, resulting in possible victim injuries.

The fire broke out at the Hibiscus Pointe condominiums on Northwest 12th Avenue and 79th Street.

The fire was contained to a balcony on the second story, and the firefighters promptly put it out.

Authorities say that, thanks to the quick response of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, no serious injuries were recorded, but paramedics evaluated a few residents for smoke inhalation at the scene.

Investigators are still trying to find the source of the fire.
