Miami, FL – Victims Hurt in Car Accident, Fire on FL Trnpke

Miami, FL (January 30, 2024) – The southbound off-ramp to the northbound Florida Turnpike in Miami-Dade County has been closed due to a vehicle crash and fire on Tuesday afternoon, January 30.

AT around 1:45 p.m., local news footage showed a scorched black SUV on the roadway, along with at least one other damaged sedan. As emergency personnel arrived, firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze. The total number of victims injured, as well as the cause of the incident, remains unknown. EMTs assessed at least a handful of people at the site, but officers did not release further information as they conducted their inquiry.
