Miami, FL – Vehicle Wrecks w/Injuries Shut Down Palmetto Expy

Miami, FL (December 13, 2023) – On Tuesday morning, traffic was severely delayed due to two accidents on the Palmetto Expressway in Miami-Dade County.

Both of the southbound express lanes of the Palmetto Expressway were closed due to an accident that happened near Northwest 103rd Street. Additionally, delays near Northwest 103rd Street were created by an additional secondary accident on the Palmetto northbound side. EMTs transported victims from the scene, though their current conditions are unknown. Officers with the Miami Police Department are seeking witnesses in connection with the incident, and an investigation is still ongoing.
