Miami, FL - Two Hurt After SUV Crashes into Store on Bird Rd

Miami, FL (October 18, 2023) – A vehicle drove into the entrance of a Walgreens store in South Florida on Wednesday afternoon, causing damage and minor injuries.

Broken glass and twisted metal were shown by news footage along Bird Road and 107th Avenue in Southwest Miami-Dade after a black SUV crashed through the front.

The police report states that nobody was seriously wounded, though at least two people were assessed by EMTs at the scene.

It is unclear what led the driver to lose consciousness and control of the car, but an investigation is ongoing.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families.
