Miami, FL – Two Hospitalized in Wrong-Way Crash on SW 12th Avenue
Miami, FL (May 23, 2021) – Police in Miami responded to the scene of a wrong-way crash that took place just after 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22nd. The accident was reported at the intersection of Southwest 12th Avenue and First Street.
According to reports, a car was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes when that vehicle collided head-on with a second car that was also traveling eastbound. Both drivers were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital following the crash. At this time, there is no information on their conditions or the extent of their injuries. There were no other vehicles involved and there is no word on what caused the driver to travel the wrong way. The identities of the victims were not immediately released.
