Miami, FL – Three Hospitalized in I-95 Crash at 62nd St

Miami, FL (September 3, 2023) – Three persons were sent to the hospital after an accident that blocked all five southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Miami on Sunday morning, September 3.

Units from Miami Fire Rescue arrived at the site of the multiple-car crash at around 6:20 a.m. Three vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, were involved in the collision when emergency crews arrived.

The accident occurred near Northwest 62nd Street, according to the investigation. Two victims were sent to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition. Jackson Memorial Hospital received a female patient who was in stable condition.

All three victims are likely to survive, though the severity of their injuries remains unknown.

The incident has been turned over to the Florida Highway Patrol for further investigation.
