Car Accidents in Florida

According to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, there were 401,867 car accidents in Florida in 2019. This number remained relatively stable from the year before when there were 403,626 reported accidents in our state. A Florida car accident can result in serious and life-changing injuries for victims. These crashes happen very suddenly and unexpectedly and are often the result of actions by negligent drivers. Some common causes of crashes include speeding, distracted driving, impairment, and failing to yield to other vehicles on the road.

If you or a loved one have been impacted by the actions of a negligent driver, you could be entitled to compensation. While not all Florida car accidents result in injuries, many of them do. The injuries that you have sustained can affect every aspect of your life, including your ability to work and earn a living, and the ability to enjoy the activities that you enjoyed prior to the accident. Under Florida law, you could receive payment for your pain and suffering, lost wages, medical and prescription bills, and potentially more. Only a skilled and experienced attorney can properly evaluate your claim and help you receive the money you deserve.
