Miami, FL – Several Injured in Apt Fire on NE 128 St

Miami, FL (February 16, 2024) – An early morning fire left 16 people without a home and injured several others in North Miami.

An apartment building on NE 128 Street caught fire on Friday. The Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, receiving a call prior to 6:30 a.m., deployed units. The single-story building was engulfed in flames upon firefighters’ arrival, but the cause of the incident remains unknown. Paramedics also transferred several to the hospital, though their current conditions are unknown. An investigation into the blaze is still ongoing.
