Miami, FL - Several Injured in 10-Car Wreck on Palmetto Expy

Miami, FL (April 4, 2024) – Early Thursday morning, several crashes on the Palmetto Expressway brought traffic to a stop and resulted in victim injuries.

The first reported crash occurred around 6:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes near Okeechobee Road. The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed three separate accidents, involving roughly 10 vehicles. A stretch of the expressway was shut down entirely as EMTs arrived and transported at least two to three people to the hospital. An investigation proceeds in the interim.

Our thoughts and best wishes for a full recovery go out to the injured victims.
