Miami, FL – Several Hurt in Dump Truck Accident on FL Trnpke

Miami, FL (February 22, 2024) – Significant delays on Tuesday in Miami-Dade County, Florida, resulted from an accident involving a dump truck.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that the incident occurred on the Turnpike in the southbound direction, just before exit 34 at Northwest 106th Street. What caused the accident is still unknown. According to FHP, there were injuries, but they did not disclose the number or severity of those injuries. As troopers arrived at the site, three lanes were closed. An investigation remains ongoing, however.
