Miami, FL – Seven Hospitalized in Crash on SR 80 at Arden Lake

Miami, FL (November 8, 2023) – Seven people were rushed to the hospital after a three-car collision on Sunday, said the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred around 10:58 a.m. on State Road 80 and Arden Lake Way. According to PBSO, three vehicles were involved in the collision: a 2020 Chevrolet, a 2017 Toyota Rav4, and a 2022 Tesla.

There were four passengers in the Tesla, including the driver, according to the official report of the collision. A passenger in the Tesla was thrown from the car and pinned beneath the rear driver’s side tire after the crash.

The drivers of the Chevy and the Toyota and the passenger thrown from the Tesla were brought to St. Mary’s Medical Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Tesla driver and three passengers were also injured, but their wounds were not considered life-threatening. They were also sent to Palm West Medical Center for treatment.

An investigation is active and ongoing.
