Miami, FL - Police Responded to Crash with Injuries on SW 40th Street

Miami, FL (April 24, 2021) – The Miami-Dade Police Department responded to an injury crash in the city on Friday, April 23rd. The crash was reported around 11:05 a.m. on the Rickenbacker Causeway near Key Biscayne.

When officers arrived, they discovered at least one person suffering from injuries sustained as a result of the crash. Rescue workers also arrived at the scene to treat the injured victims. There are few details available regarding the accident. It is not clear how many vehicles were involved or how the crash took place. The injured victims have not been identified at this time. Motorists were advised to avoid the area if possible while police and rescue workers cleared the scene and investigated the crash.
