Miami, FL – Police Officer Hurt in Car Accident on NW 7th St.
Miami, FL (July 25, 2021) – A City of Miami Police Sergeant was hurt in a crash on Saturday, July 25th. The accident took place on Northwest 7th Street at the intersection with 11th Avenue.
According to police, the officer was on duty and traveling in a marked vehicle when his car was hit by a gray BMW sedan. The sedan traveled off the road and into a set of bushes before coming to rest. The Miami officer was taken to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was listed in stable condition with a head injury. The officer’s identity was not immediately released. There is no word on whether any additional injuries were sustained in the collision.
